4 – 8:00 PM | Check in with Registration & Team Tent Set-up |
8:00 AM | Captain’s Meeting (Mandatory). Also mandatory for Dragon Boat Club Team Steerspeople. |
8:30 AM | Official Welcome, Recognition of Festival Sponsors, Dotting of the Eye, and The Flower Ceremony - to honor those facing cancer, celebrate survivors, and a tribute to those who have passed and forever remain in our hearts. |
9:00 AM | Races Begin. Heat 1 ~ Three teams will race approximately every 9 minutes. Three teams will race approximately every 9 minutes. Official team photos are taken after each team’s first race by the Marshalling area. |
10:30 AM | Races Continue. Heat 2 ~ Each team is guaranteed to race in Heat 1 and Heat 2. Fastest combined times proceed to the Final Heat. |
1:00 PM | Exhibition and Final Heat (Club Womens, Cancer Survivor, Club Mixed, then Community teams) |
3:00 PM | Club Team 2K Race – top six club teams based on Final Heat times. 2000 meters of non-stop hard-core paddling. |
3:30 PM | Award Ceremony (awards will be presented for race winners and spirit awards, including best-dressed drummer, most spirited team, and fundraising champion.) |

Attention Teams: The Race Schedule will be loaded Wednesday prior to race day below. Please ask your team members to arrive at the venue at least one hour before your first scheduled race.
