The Aspirus Water Dragons includes Aspirus Health employees and their families from across our system. We’re beginners and we plan to showcase how a group of individuals from north central Wisconsin can come together for a terrific cause.

We are a team of misfits made up of Aspirus Rhinelander Behavioral Health Associates and their friends and family. We are looking forward to spreading mental health awareness and rowing for a great cause!

Unlike the Greek god, this team of Siren women causes destruction with their sweet paddling technique. Started in 2016 as part of the Greater Chicago Dragon Boat club, this women’s team is made up of local, national and international paddlers. These ladies show the strength and friendship that can be created from the sport of dragon boating.

Island City Dragon Boat Club Nonprofit Purpose: The Island City Dragon Boat Club, Inc. is dedicated to teaching and training adult and youth athletes from the greater Minocqua area and surrounding counties in the sport of dragon boat paddling and dragon boat racing.
The future of dragon boating is bright with this youth team in the Lakeland area. With help from the Island City Dragon Boat Club, this young group of dragons was “hatched” in 2022. This mixed youth program is based in Minocqua, Wisconsin, and is coached by Mike Mondrall. This team is excited to roar with the dragons.
We are a group of women who have paddled together for a couple of summers. We have a varied level of experience and pride ourselves in being a "seriously fun" team! Dragon Warriors gives people the opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of dragon boating in a fun Northwoods environment.
Fiery Fresh is made up of friends and family of T.A. Solberg Co., Inc.

Born in 2021 in Fort Dodge, IA, the Flying Beers is a dynamic fusion of Racine, Wisconsin’s Motley Crew and DeKalb, Illinois’ Flying Ears. For over a decade, these two teams have battled fiercely on the water, while sharing the strongest of friendships off it. Their union is a testament to the thrilling, competitive, and close-knit spirit of the dragon boat racing community. Let’s raise our paddles and celebrate the Flying Beers!
The Flying Ears are from DeKalb Illinois. We have reorganized after the covid situation after losing several paddlers.
Island City Dragon Boat Club Nonprofit Purpose: The Island City Dragon Boat Club, Inc. is dedicated to teaching and training adult and youth athletes from the greater Minocqua area and surrounding counties in the sport of dragon boat paddling and dragon boat racing.
Newly formed in 2023, we have a group of men committed to learn the sport of dragon boat racing and join the Island City ladies. These gentlemen, "Fish", will be paired with Island City Sisters, "Chicks". Looking to make new memories at their 2nd appearance at the Minocqua Festival.

KC Pink Warriors is a community of female cancer survivors who inspire, restore and empower through dragon boat competition and team connection. Located directly in the heart of America, KCPW is the first full time dragon boat team in Missouri and Kansas! Since our beginnings in 2019, we have attended numerous festivals and have walked away with many medals and even more memories.
This Motley paddling crew was formed early July and this festival will be their debut paddle together. Kaleidoscope Crew is a team made from members from Motley Crew, Flying Ears, Kansas City and Tampa Florida. We come together to paddle as one, celebrating diversity in the paddling community and camaraderie on and off the water.
Breast Cancer Survivor team
This is our opportunity to move out of the stresses and rigors of Military life, culture of discipline and have some much needed excitement . When you see us paddling your way "MAKE A HOLE"! Soldiers on Sleds is always looking for an opportunity to help relieve the stressors that contribute to PTSD. Welcome us, some of America's finest! Cheer us on as we glide by. But don't blink an eye or you'll miss us.
This team is built from generations of friends paddling in honor and memory of Dr. George Anast. A pioneer of modern emergency medicine and world-renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Anast was influential in developing healthcare in the Northwoods and beyond. We are so thankful he shared his talents with us as part of the photography team with Geri Miller.
Off the Edge is a competitive women’s paddling team based in White Bear Lake, MN. The water is our Happy Place!

Pink Paddling Power is a breast cancer survivor team from Racine that was started in 2006. We have raced in the US, Canada, Hong Kong and Italy. We are part of the Racine Dragon Boat Club and are involved in many community events and promote survivorship through dragon boating.

TEAMSurvivor Madison is a non-profit organization that provides free or low cost fitness activities for women with a past or present diagnosis of cancer. Our programs are geared to all levels of fitness and we welcome women of all ages with all types of cancer. TEAMSurvivor Madison’s programs and activities offer opportunities for women to reclaim their fitness, gain a sense of accomplishment, build a social support system and achieve renewed comfort with their bodies and their health.
Our team has been dragon boating since 2003 and we are proud to show the face of cancer survivorship.
